DEBORAH LYNN DAVIS was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1948. Debbi graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 1970 and received her law degree from the school in 1973. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and to the U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts.

Debbi is the author of Warren’s Weed New York Real Property, Matthew Bender, New York City, 1984 (14 volumes, Section on Summary Proceedings, Vol. 5, with Hon. Jeffry H. Gallet) and has been an instructor and lecturer in the field of landlord-tenant law. Her specialty in housing litigation established her as one of the premiere attorneys in the field.

In late 1999, Debbi made some life changes and left Wagner Davis P.C. She established a partnership in the El-Baz Gallery, an art gallery in Soho specializing in contemporary art. Debbi remains as “of counsel” to the law firm.
